Inspired by Talking Heads' "Once in a Lifetime" and Peter Gabriel's "Sledgehammer" music videos, the music video for "Vacation Forever" is one of my dearest works.

 

In late 2020, while under Chicago's covid lockdowns, I was highly aware of the general fatigue felt by myself and everyone around me. In response, I wrote a tongue-in-cheek song about escaping the throes of covid anxiety and burnout and going on vacation forever.

Every aspect of the song and video was written, directed, tracked, mixed, shot, produced, animated, and performed by me. Check out the video below.
